i dont buy it. the parts looked as if they were just sewn on like somebody fixing a tear in a shirt. there is only 3 or 4 stitches holding them in place. i call bullshit.

Rejection wouldn't be an issue here as the parts are in no way grafted on. Basically all you'd have to worry about is a few lumps of rotting dog meat causing complications with your stitches.

Don't get me wrong, it is totally a stunt. Or rather a work of "art" since the guy claims to be some sort of artist. I would imagine there is 0 grafting beyond some stitching, and even that would probably (hopefully) have some sort of protection against infection.

Saw this when it was first posted on reddit, the guy is a performance artist of some sorts and did this for an exhibition. There was no intention for this to be a functional alteration.

This is a work by Rodrigo Braga, as another guy already mentioned. The dog head is real, but the attachment is photoshopped. The parts are NOT in any way sewn onto the guy's face. The artist even clarifies it on his website.
