WHAT A BUNCH OF FAT LAZY ASSHOLES WHY DON'T YOU USE A CAR LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

[–]Phallic 772 points773 points ago

That's someone's whole life. That's what the one life they have on this planet has come to.

I think we laugh at this stuff to stop ourselves from really thinking how terribly sad it is.

What a life.

:(

[–]Bilboalthor 305 points306 points ago

they could be happy.

[–]Phallic 222 points223 points ago

I'm not saying they're guaranteed to be unhappy, but when I think about how difficult it must be for them to perform everyday tasks, and how they must never get the pleasure of doing all the physical things I love to do, and how uncomfortable and sometimes even painful it must be to live in that body, then I think it's really sad.

They might not be unhappy, but their quality of life is severely limited by their physical condition (which could easily be the result of a medical problem or injury, and not their fault at all).

[–]The_Magnificent 33 points34 points ago

As a skinny guy with a lot of physical issues, that's very true.

There's a lot of things I can't do, or costs much more effort doing. The quality of my life certainly isn't as great as it would be were I in good health.

So, for the most my life consists of just sitting at the computer. These people might have taken a different route and simply spent most their team eating, as that is what they enjoy.

It's not something I could ever respect, but I have some understanding for it. We simply don't know what exactly is going on with these people.

[–]darny 27 points28 points ago

Your point is taken, but this photo is as absurd as a couple of crack addicts lining up at their dealer for more crack.

[–]mik3 1 point2 points ago

Or someone with lung cancer buying cigarettes.

[–]MiltOnTilt 70 points71 points ago

As a person who was formerly obese and changed my life, most people overweight have no one to blame but themselves.

And it's sad, but I don't feel sorry for these people anymore but get angry because obesity is costing this country more in health expenses than smoking now.

I get how the American culture promotes obesity, but these people sitting in a drive thru on a scooter have no one to blame but themselves.

[–]Kalashnikov74 30 points31 points ago

I completely agree. I was overweight and probably considered obese for awhile as well (6' 3, got up to a 42 waistline, now a 33.) The arguments I've seen of people saying they can't afford healthy food, so they are forced to eat unhealthy foods, is complete BS. I eat a healthier diet now for less than I ever did living off of fast food and other over processed crap.

Seeing older people suffer through heart disease and diabetes scared the crap out of me and got me working out and eating healthier. Now that I feel so much better throughout the day, there's no way I'd let myself get to that point again.

[–]MiltOnTilt 16 points17 points ago

It's amazing. I STILL eat regularly at McDonalds but still keep the weight off because I know what I'm eating. In general, people who are obese just don't care what they ate eating. And that is the problem.

[–]InappropriatelyGay 8 points9 points ago

As far as weight is concerned, it doesn't matter what you eat as long as you don't consume more calories than you burn. I could potentially eat McDonalds every day and still lose weight/maintain weight as long as I didn't exceed my limit. However, doing so would make me unhealthy as the food still is bad for you.

[–]kevinstonge 3 points4 points ago

obesity is costing this country more in health expenses than smoking now

Some people have done the math and concluded that it is true (obviously) that the per-year cost of treating obese individuals is higher than the per-year cost of treating non-obese individuals. What might surprise you is that the lifetime cost of treating obese individuals is lower than the lifetime cost of treating non-obese individuals. This is also obvious if you think about it. Fat people die pretty quickly and save the taxpayer a few decades worth of medical expenses paid for that individual.

Obesity is like suicide. It helps control the population and it helps keep healthcare costs down.

[–]kristinez 186 points187 points ago

(which could easily be the result of a medical problem or injury, and not their fault at all)

Which is highly unlikely seeing as how they're in a KFC drivethrough.

[–]NosferatuHeftyDance 8 points9 points ago

Steroids. They make people put on lots of weight. I used to think that no one can really be fat because of a medical condition, but then my friend got a bad fucking illness and needed steroids, and then I met a lady who was diagnosed with cancer who also was on steroids. They were both fat by the end of it.

[–]Phallic 64 points65 points ago

People with medical problems never eat fast food?

[–]t-rexatron 200 points201 points ago

Plus, you know medicinal fried chicken and all.

[–]tea_H_sea 31 points32 points ago

Some people do fried chicken even when it's not medicinal.

[–]biggmclargehuge 6 points7 points ago

i caught my son doing fried chicken with his friend the other day. you know what the worst part was? they had the audacity to do it right in front of me at the table

[–]billin 2 points3 points ago

Shh! Don't you ruin it for everyone else! You want to get that medicinal fried chicken law repealed??

[–]TheTruthisSpoken 2 points3 points ago

Hunger is a disease.

[–]LLFoolJ 6 points7 points ago

Secret herbs and spices

[–]Fa1nT 99 points100 points ago

People with medical problems pertaining to the inability to lose weight at a moderate speed / exercise, should in fact, not ever eat fast food.

Yes.

[–]KingRiku[!] 38 points39 points ago

It's not on the list of doctor recommended foods.

[–]Phallic 22 points23 points ago

That's not really the point. If they're suffering from an illness or injury that confines them to a scooter, then eating KFC (once, for all we know) isn't really deserving of our instant judgement.

And even if they are just reckless, irresponsible eaters with a terrible diet. Isn't that sad too?

[–]Stratocaster89 54 points55 points ago

Not many illnesses cause you to become morbidly obese, nor is there any reason to gain this much weight because you're injured.

Fuck, theres no reason to be that fat period. Id say 90% of these people are like that through their own poor choices.

Its no coincidence 50 years ago people like this were a rarity. People have always lived with illness and injury.

Depression is one of the worst things to deal with. I hardly eat when depressed. I hardly do anything when depressed. My house is still in the clean up process since my last bout of depression. That hits and everything just goes to shit. Total shit.

[–]Finnfinite 25 points26 points ago

In Europe this just does not happen, so I guess you got some weird illnesses over in the US...

[–]cauchy37 17 points18 points ago

Obesity does happen, although I must say I'm yet to see a morbidly obese person moving about on a scooter. It's either wheelchair or they're walking about on their own.

[–]barjam 7 points8 points ago

The scooter thing is relatively new. I don't remember seeing this 10-15 years ago.

[–]megajoules 13 points14 points ago

Back in the 70's, my German Grandfather came to the US for the first time to visit us. He was astounded with the amount of morbidly obese people we had. I have his photo album from that trip (He died in the 80's) and he actually took pictures of these people because it was something he had just never experienced before. He was fascinated with them and couldn't believe that someone could become so overweight.

And don't forget, this was in the 70's, when the US wasn't run by HFC's and Monsanto. Being morbidly obese in the 70's was something unusual, and not as prevalent as today.

[–]SovietK 11 points12 points ago

Yes it does. I live in europe and have been to quite a few european countries. This is not just an American thing. Really stupid statement if you ask me.

[–][deleted] 27 points28 points ago

Dude, we're trying to make ourselves feel better by putting people who don't live like we do down. You're ruining the moment.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points ago

Severe obese dude here, let's not kid ourselves. Fried chicken are goddamn delicious.

[–]mage_g4 1 point2 points ago

In all fairness, there's a very, very strong likelihood they have done this to themselves so I have no sympathy.

[–]RPrevolution 1 point2 points ago

Exhibit 1: Diabetes type II makes up 90+% of diabetes in the US. Diabetes type II is non-genetic.

[–]NUA-667 1 point2 points ago

They might not be unhappy, but their quality of life is severely limited by their physical condition (which could easily be the result of a medical problem or injury, and not their fault at all).

Nah, I am pretty sure it boils down to atrophy from hours upon hours of television watching and unhealthy eating.

As for the picture, most drive thrus around here don't allow those in the lane.

[–]Zombiep 1 point2 points ago

Yes, they could be having butt secks.

[–]pseudobrittany 19 points20 points ago

It's a broken state of humanity.

They can feel happiness, and they probably do, else they wouldn't be scootin' out to KFC. But I wonder what point it's at where instead of addressing an issue you further limit your life quality by buying a scooter.

A strange thought I always had on this was that if you have kids, you should feed them when they're hungry.

A lot of parents nowadays give treats, snacks, everything throughout the day to their kids. They begin to crave those little things. Candy, McDonalds.. anything.

I'm thinking, if you teach a human being to appreciate food only because it satisfies their sense of hunger, would over-eating or even eating terrible food as a whole possibly change?

[–]stareattheart 5 points6 points ago

Your body loves sugar. If you let kids unsupervised, they'll eat a shitload of it. Sugar is energy, and in the olde times, sugar wasn't freely available, and was hard to find.

Fast foods, even salty ones, are packed with sugar. That's why they're so addictive.

Keep fast foods away from your children. Teach them portioning and what is healthy food, so when they grow up, they won't gorge in fast food and end up obese and unhealthy.

[–]HotwaxNinjaPanther[!] 2 points3 points ago

My parents did that to me all the time. It wasn't until I moved out and experienced the negative reinforcement that things got better. My friends would tell me how unhealthy it was that I ate like a pig throughout the day. If it weren't for that, I never would have gotten myself down to a healthy weight. It's really important for a person to know that it's not ok to be that fat. It's a sign that something is very wrong and they can't just ignore it and ask for seconds.

Indeed, but I find it scary at the same time. It is becoming more and more common place, WallE is not far off i would say.

[–]lhld 3 points4 points ago

also idiocracy.

[–]THE_CENTURION 6 points7 points ago

Ouch man, right in the feelings.

[–]blackkatlv 52 points53 points ago

Sadly, some of us can only see the sadness. Also, the sadness in the assumption they're in the scooters because they're fat. What if there is something that keeps them in the scooters medically and because of the lack of activity they've gained the weight? People forget that. My mother was someone that happened to, after being in a coma. It sucks that our society just sees fat people and laughs.

[–]StealthGhost 92 points93 points ago

Maybe they're perfectly normal besides being fat they just enjoy taking scooter rides together, then back to their nice house that isn't a hoarder episode.

Probably not though

[–]form_wrestle_account 30 points31 points ago

What if despite their fatness, they're actually good people who have done many things to help their fellow man? What if they're deeply loved and are vital parts of many people's lives?

Should we still be laughing at them and not give them the same respect that every human is entitled to?

[–]Bladewing10 23 points24 points ago

No no. This is Reddit. All obese people brought their fatness on themselves because they're not on a keto diet. They couldn't possibly have any condition that contributes to their obesity. That's just an excuse. They've also always been fat their entire lives and have never been contributing members of society as a result. They deserve all the derision we could possibly throw at them because they wanted to be fat.

[–]BrainSlurper 65 points66 points ago

Does their medical condition require them to eat at KFC too?

[–]chezazarng 36 points37 points ago

Medicinal Fried Chicken. It keeps men from getting testicular cancer.

[–]Dunamus 17 points18 points ago

You don't need to be active to lose weight.

[–]RPrevolution 5 points6 points ago

You don't gain that much weight from not moving, you gain that much weight from eating at KFC

[–]JacobJuhl 1 point2 points ago

At first sight I though this picture was funny.

But it's actually pretty sad looking at.

[–]JPugzz 32 points33 points ago

[–]Jasonrj 18 points19 points ago

Seeing these things always irritates me.

Like, why can they just plop down and cruise around down in those freaking things all day? Uphill, across town, etc. like they're cars or something and the battery never dies.

Then comes my smart phone, and I have to nurse it through the day. Here you go little smarty warty phone, have a quick charge juice on the 3 minute drive to the store. Who's the smartest little phone, you are! Oh yes you are! Please don't die on me at work today little guy.

[–]Xizer 16 points17 points ago

If you want to strap a 40 pound battery to your phone you won't have to worry about that anymore.

[–]racoonpeople 28 points29 points ago

Is it legal to serve food to people like that?

[–]YesSirSir 34 points35 points ago

Technically, they aren't "walking-up" to the window.

[–]mattindustries 16 points17 points ago

It is up to the store... I got turned down at Wendy's a couple days ago on my bicycle. They didn't even bother saying they wouldn't serve me. Their lobby was closed, and I really wanted a frosty.

[–]Da3dalus42 16 points17 points ago

Fucking tragic, lemme tell you.

[–]mattindustries 6 points7 points ago

It was. You have no idea how good that frosty would have been on that hot summer day.

[–]Negative_Nyancat 5 points6 points ago

My neighbor tried to do this on a bicycle a few years ago at our neighborhood Arby's. Not only did the lady at the window tell him "no.", but she called the goddamn police on him even though he was completely coherent/not drunk/polite. Good thing he can pedal fast. Stupid bitch.

just let fat people have cocaine already. that'll make 'em drop the weight and save billions in health care costs.

being a cocaine addict is healthier than being that obese.

[–]Daitenchi 10 points11 points ago

Genius! We take the cocaine away from the addicts and give it to the obese. Two birds with one stone!

[–]bastian1343 5 points6 points ago

But do you really want 400 pound people suddenly gaining the magic feat of Crack Strength all at the same time and starting a stampede?

[–]mattindustries 73 points74 points ago

No.. it really isn't

[–]pseudolobster 39 points40 points ago

I've tried to compare the number of deaths per capita from both obesity and cocaine. Here's what I've found:

This study shows two different data sources, showing a total average deaths per 100,000 people in 24 major cities over a 17 year period. These are 0.29 deaths and 0.16 deaths per, depending on who you ask. Let's average that to 0.225 deaths per year per 100,000 people, and extrapolate that to the total population of 300,000,000, giving us an average of 675 deaths per year from cocaine. This is pretty much a worst case scenario, since it only looks at major metropolitan areas, and I'm going to assume there's more coke consumed in the inner city than in rural areas.

Okay, as for obesity, the numbers are pretty hotly debated too, with some experts saying as much as half a million deaths per year, others as low as 110,000. This wiki page links to this study which basically says the 110,000 number is probably more accurate, so let's roll with that.

Now, compared to fat people, there aren't that many cocaine users overall, from 5.7 million in 1984 to 1.5 mil in 1995. Now, since the death figures I posted above are averaged over 1981-1998, I'm going to average that out to 3.6 million cokeheads. 675 deaths out of 3.6m is 0.0187% of cocaine users die from cocaine each year.

According to the center for disease control, 35.7% of americans are obese, for a total of some 10.7 million obese people. If 111,909 people die from obesity each year, that's a total of 0.104%, or an order of magnitude more than the cocaine percentage.

Now, I know, this isn't a very conclusive statistic and there's a lot more health problems than death from both of these things, but it seems fat people are ten times more likely to die of being fat than cocaine users are likely to die from using cocaine.

EDIT: I'm probably an idiot. Anyone mind checking my work?

[–]herman2 30 points31 points ago

Except that 35.7% of the 300 million people in the US would be closer to 100 million, not 10.7 million. You are off by a factor of ten. So maybe theyd be a little closer to the same rate as cocaine users...

[–]pseudolobster 23 points24 points ago

Aww geez, I knew something like this would happen. Remind me not to operate a calculator when I've been drinking.

[–]johnwalkr 20 points21 points ago

I love that you're drunk and lecturing other people on health-related habits.

[–]pseudolobster 10 points11 points ago

When I start getting flak from John Walker, I know I've probably had too much.

[–]johnwalkr 6 points7 points ago

On the other hand, I ate an entire chicken at KFC today. No, really, 1 chicken makes 9 pieces at KFC and I had one of each type. It's all-you-can-eat day at KFC in Japan. I feel like shit.

[–]pseudolobster 7 points8 points ago

all-you-can-eat day at KFC

Wait, what? They have that? Wow!

I'm sorry to say but that could never be profitable in America.

PS: Is it true Colonel Sanders is the Japanese Santa Claus?

According to the center for disease control, 35.7% of americans are obese, for a total of some 10.7 million obese people.

The population of the United States is currently somewhere around 314 million people. 35.7% would be ~112 million obese people, reducing the deaths percentage to <0.001%, an order of magnitude smaller than cocaine.

[–]pseudolobster 4 points5 points ago

Yeah, herman2 noticed that six minutes before you. I've edited my post to include a footnote saying I'm dumb, but I don't really feel like doing all the numbers over again. I wouldn't be surprised if I made some other mistakes too. If anyone wants to crunch the numbers again I'd appreciate it.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet, folks! I'm not really a lobster!

It just bothers me that so many diseases could be prevented from living a healthy lifestyle, and so many expenses are paid to cater to overweight and obese people. All they have to do is eat less, there is no magic pills, no magic programs, they simply need to consume less energy then they require to maintain their current wait in a day. They don't because society caters to them. I can't tell you how many BS excuses I've heard working in the health and fitness field. Almost everyone has a thyroid problem ( which btw is a result of excessive weight gain/obesity not the cause most of the time) and pop pills to try and fix it, some "just can't lose weight" but do not take the time to understand macronutrients and calories, some try low fat and carb diets but do not understand why they do not work ( you need fat and carbs in ample amounts for optimal health they are MACRO nutrients after all.

Honestly people just want to take shortcuts I am sure there are a handful of people who physically and mentally have issues losing weight, but it is a minuscule number compared the amount of people who claim they cannot. They are just plain lazy.

How often do we here of people physically not being able to gain weight? Maybe we all know that video of the girl labled as ugly who physically cannot gain weight no matter how much they eat, and I am not talking about 2-3-4 thousand calories. I am talking 5-6-7 (which rarely skinny people who "cant gain weight" never come close to consuming) I would argue that it is equally as unlikely to find someone with the equivalent opposite disorder.

Find a calorie calculator, figure out how many calories you need to maintain your weight, eat 500 less a day. Stop being lazy and making up excuses that aren't true. There is absolutely no reason that even 5% of a country should be obese.

Watch a recent BBC documentary called 'The men who made us Fat'. It's a fascinating insight into the business/political decisions combined with scientific mistakes and cover ups that have lead us to the situation we're in.

The implication of this documentary is very much that so much has been done to force shitty food down our throat that there is little realistic hope that a majority of the population could just say 'no'. Some scientists are actually surprised that more of us aren't obese.

[–]MurderingTime 3 points4 points ago

Cite a published scientific reference for thyroid problems being caused by obesity. I happen to know quite a bit about thyroid disorders, as I have Graves Disease -- the onset of which sparked a keen interest in all things thyroid. If you can provide such reference, I'll retract the following and apologize: Frankly, I think that your broad and shallow judgmental comment is a great example of the kind of thinking about obesity that is more poisonous to society than obesity itself is.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points ago

Obesity and its related issues is one of the most expensive health problems in the US.

[–]avocadoadvocate 46 points47 points ago

What do you expect when healthy eating isn't promoted, the shit that makes them fat is cheap and government legislation is bought by the people who make the shit that makes them fat?

[–]bastian1343 14 points15 points ago

In Denmark, eating healthy isn't just promoted but there are actual fees (think additional sales tax) on soda and certain foods, and we still have obese people (more than anywhere else in Scandinavia, as I recall).

Some things you just can't advertise your way out of.

[–]BrainSlurper 61 points62 points ago

Oh, I am not going to eat healthily because it isn't promoted. I am going to eat fried food to the point where I can't walk because nobody is telling me to do otherwise. That argument counts to firetruck regardless of how you look at it.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points ago

The argument that the government gives subsidies to things like HFCS, thus creating an extremely cheap market for unhealthy, extremely convenient foods is an invalid argument for obesity? Even when the psychological, physical, and habitual effects of eating high carb diets with lots of sugar that have an extremely un-involved or short prep time which does nothing but perpetuate these issues? Especially considering the current distribution of wealth creating an atmosphere in which the amount of hours one must work with a minimum wage job to support their family leaves no room to prepare healthy meals?

[–]MissMister 15 points16 points ago

GOVERNMENT MAKE US HEALTHY PLZZZZZZ

[–]flagbearer223 4 points5 points ago

That argument counts to firetruck

Explain.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points ago

[–]avocadoadvocate 4 points5 points ago

I dunno, when you word it that way it sounds about right

[–]ReadySetKill 11 points12 points ago

Driving to a fast food restaurant and spending 8$ on a meal is cheap?

Healthy food is far cheaper.

[–]parlezmoose 19 points20 points ago

The reason poor people eat fast food has much more to do with it being convenient and satisfying than with it being cheap. If you just worked an 8 hour shift at your exhausting shitty job do you want to go prepare some steamed vegetables, or do you want to buy a delicious ready to eat cheeseburger? The secret to fast food's success is that it provides the convenience of a full service restaurant at a price anyone can afford. Prior to this innovation, eating out was a luxury reserved for the rich. This is why historically it was the rich people who were the fat ones. Before fast food the poor had no choice but to prepare their own (relatively healthy) meals, but now the convenience of prepared food has been made available to them. However, the only way this is economically possible is by using cheap, satisfying, but incredibly unhealthy ingredients. As a result, the poor people eating this stuff get fat.

[–]rugdoctor 2 points3 points ago

if you're poor and spending $8 for a single meal at a fast food restaurant, you're doing it wrong. I could feed myself for 2-3 days with that much money at McDonalds.

[–]Psuffix 21 points22 points ago

Corn and chicken grown from government subsidies, and feeding them back to the taxpayers coated and fried. Ah, America...

[–]misterioes 2 points3 points ago

Well, yesterday I read someone say that kids needed sweets for energy. The fact that the same energy is available in healthy food in the form of carbohydrates (which are transformed to a sort of sugar) instead of sugar isn't common knowledge. That post saying that sweets were the preferable source of energy for kids was top voted. I couldn't even facepalm enough. If you are american, click this.

[–]Skid_Markie 11 points12 points ago

This may be true, but the two in this pic aren't even trying. They probably only get out of those things to shit or sleep. Next evolutionary step would be those hover lawn chairs from Wall-E.

[–]springy 4 points5 points ago

Is KFC and other junk food actually cheap? I know that people often state that as an excuse for people eating lots of it, but is it really cheaper than making a salad or a sandwich?

[–]m0nsterm4sh 15 points16 points ago

No, it's part of the fantasy world fat people create to excuse their gluttony and hide from uncomfortable facts.

For the price of a meal in a fast food restaurant you can buy the ingredients of 2 or 3 healthy meals. Don't take my word for it, have a look next time you go shopping.

[–]rjung 14 points15 points ago

What do you expect when healthy eating isn't promoted

What kind of leftist Socialist Communist Nazi talk is that? You must be an Obammer voter!

[–]RPrevolution 4 points5 points ago

Ironically, the second thing he mentioned voids your circle-jerk because the corporations cozying up to regulating agencies has thrived under Obama. Pizza now fulfills daily vegetable intake in public schools

[–]waterbabies3[!] 23 points24 points ago

Is it rude to ask why your order from KFC is any different from theirs? I'm just curious.

[–]w_lves 17 points18 points ago

Because they're riding something that makes it easier for them to get around and he's riding a ca-
WAIT

[–]meAndb 13 points14 points ago

Come on, why pretend that you don't know full well that they're morbidly obese, needing a motorized scooter to even get around? The fact that they should definitely not be eating KFC is what makes them different.

It's unfortunate a lot of people are making fun of them, but really, you can't see that?

[–]iamaiamscat 5 points6 points ago

Because those people are morbidly obese and still continue to eat KFC.

You have no knowledge if the driver is morbidly obese.

[–]Lur_kurious 8 points9 points ago

America Fuck Yeah!

[–]mjfh81 1 point2 points ago

Taken while in your car? Granted these bastards are fucking huge but what about you?

[–]rafmataf 1 point2 points ago

They´ll be dead soon, like all of us here.

[–]mage_g4 1 point2 points ago

You know how bartenders turn people away when they're too drunk? I think fast food should be like that.

When some whale, like these fuckers, comes in on a scooter they should be greeted with a stern glance and an admonishment of "I think you've had enough."

[–]DevantOne 1 point2 points ago

'MERICA!

[–]Ca5bah 1 point2 points ago

Murica.

[–]mahade 1 point2 points ago

I can only imagine them saying: "Let's dine out today, let's go to a restaurant," and then ending up at KFC. It always bothered me that fast food joints were called "restaurants" in the USA. Asking for the way to a good restaurant as a tourist: "McDonalds is right around that corner," wasn't a reply I was expecting. That's not a restaurant. That's like comparing a suicide bomb vest to a sweater. Yes, they both keep you warm, but they have vastly different purposes.

[–]swedish_librarian 1 point2 points ago

I wonder when they´ll marketing belly wheels like in Judge Dredd for real.

[–]mightybifkin 1 point2 points ago

This is pretty much how we view Amerrrrka here in Europe. Happy 4th of July you tea-ruining bastards!

[–]I_Am_Crake 1 point2 points ago

This thread had some interesting conflicting points, but what bugs me the most is people defending being obese saying it's a health issue. So? Of course it is, but that doesn't mean you didn't have to physically put all that in your body... People aren't born obese and fat doesn't appear by itself because you have a thyroid problem. That sure as fuck would make life easier in starving nations.

[–]Paul_Shinfo 1 point2 points ago

I don't know why, but these images kinda upset me.

Like, my mother is roughly that size, she has been battling a thyroid problem for decades and she can't control it, It gave her crippling depression but she constantly eats a strict, healthy/low-fat diet and exercises every day to keep her weight under check (as it can spiral uncontrollably.) Any time I caught her comfort eating, I would stop her straight away, it's horrible seeing someone that sickened by themselves.

To see this...I don't know. It really upsets me to see these guys just...going with it yknow? Using those scooters, boshing out a KFC. It's really fucking sad.

TL;DR - These pictures are more upsetting than hilarious.

[–]unsuspicious_package 1 point2 points ago

at least we know they exceeded the weight requirement to use the drive-thru

[–]mlkelty 1 point2 points ago

Wild Hogs!

[–]PieterPlopplop 1 point2 points ago

How can you enjoy life like this? Just seems really uncomfortable to be so limited by your own body mass.

[–]sprrd 1 point2 points ago

What kind of amazing battery technology are these scooters using? I routinely see 400+ pounders tooling around on these things.

[–]xMIASMAx 1 point2 points ago

A dude taking his wife out no matter the amount of ridicule they may face. Love is all I see. Also two free sides bro, you cant miss that shit.
